Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026. By accessing or using TapGlyph, you agree to these terms. If you are using TapGlyph on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
1. Service Description
TapGlyph provides a web-based platform that enables museums and cultural institutions (“Curators”) to publish interactive exhibit experiences accessible to visitors via NFC tags and QR codes. Visitors access exhibit content anonymously without creating an account.
2. Curator Accounts
Curator accounts are provisioned by TapGlyph and assigned to a specific museum. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. You must not share your account or allow unauthorised access. Notify us immediately at contact@claudiovisentin.comif you suspect a security breach.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use TapGlyph only for lawful purposes. You must not upload content that:
- Infringes any intellectual property rights you do not hold or have licensed
- Is defamatory, obscene, or unlawful
- Contains malware, scripts, or code intended to harm systems
- Misrepresents the origin or nature of an exhibit
Curators are solely responsible for the accuracy, rights, and appropriateness of all content they upload, including text, images, 3D models, and audio files.
4. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you upload. By uploading content to TapGlyph, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and deliver that content to visitors solely for the purpose of operating the service. TapGlyph and its branding remain the exclusive property of TapGlyph.
5. Visitor Data
Visitor interactions are anonymous. Scan counts are recorded at the exhibit level without linking to any identified individual. Visitor collection data (the Digital Passport) is stored locally on the visitor's own device and is not transmitted to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Service Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, apply updates, or temporarily suspend access. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of planned downtime.
7. Limitation of Liability
TapGlyph is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, revenue, or reputation.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate a subscription at the end of a billing period in accordance with the agreed plan terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms immediately and without notice. On termination, your content will be retained for 30 days then permanently deleted.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active Curators of material changes by email. Continued use of TapGlyph after the effective date of a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
